The Play Beyond 5 Summit's Mission is simple....
to shift the paradigm towards play for the next generation.
Play is the way people learn when left to our own devices.
By attending this summit, you are joining the play revolution by helping to re-center play on the main stage where it belongs - and therefore learn the way we were designed to - with organic authenticity.
18 Expert Presentations & Interviews Over 3 Days
Over the course of an invigorating 3 days, you will discover why it is that things get so hard in the land of learning and play once our children are 5 years old - and how you can liberate yourself, so that your children can not just survive, but thrive!
You will enjoy a comprehensive dive into Our Play, Our Children's Play and the Power of Play so that we can continue playing throughout our lives - and therefore regain the freedom, connection, creativity, and joy that is the stuff of life.
The summit aims to celebrate the importance of play for all ages as we take caregivers & educators on a journey of rediscovering play. We are excited to welcome play enthusiasts from different disciplines and countries throughout the world to share their passion and wisdom of the important contribution of play from infancy to adulthood.
THE PLAY BEYOND 5 SUMMIT SPEAKER SCHEDULE
THE PRESHOW - July 14th
Get To Know Your Lovely Hosts!:
Every childhood expert knows how important play is to having a successful life, yet by the young age of five, most children are being stripped of the opportunity. More tests, more demands, homework, screens and online learning platforms coupled with less time to play, go outside, to tinker and explore has created a barren childhood landscape of lost creativity, curiosity, confidence and connection. We all know how good it feels to play, yet we have forgotten how...
The first-ever Play Beyond 5 Summit will help you reclaim true success for all of our children - and therefore society, culture, and future overall!
Come meet your hosts, Sivanne Lieber and Anandé Ferreira, as we share more about our backgrounds, why we planned this summit, the expert line-up and take you through some of our favourite moments from the interviews that you won't want to miss.
